eveluvden. Prompt given: Sam/Jo – Sam and Jo spend a romantic Christmas Eve together.
She’s just finished a hunt with Sam and Dean and is planning an early night since she has another hunt lined up tomorrow. She’s debating pizza over Chinese for dinner when her phone rings signalling a text message. It’s from Sam telling her to meet him at the park.
Sighing, Jo grabs a light jacket and leaves. She can stop off for pizza on her way back.
It’s Christmas Eve so Sam is the only person in the park. He’s sitting at a picnic table. It’s not dark out yet but it will be soon and the streetlamps are already on.
“So, why am I here?”
Sam smiles and lifts a basket onto the table.
“I thought we could have an early Christmas dinner together. We just ended a hunt and I know you’re on your way to another one tomorrow so I thought would treat you to a picnic since it’s nice out.”
Jo can’t help the smile that forms on her lips. A picnic under the stars. She’s never had a guy do something like that for her before.
Sam starts unpacking the food and Jo takes a seat next to him. “You didn’t have to go through all this trouble, Sam.”
“A special girl deserves something special.”
She thanks him with a kiss. The food will keep a while longer.
