Dean can’t believe he’s spending Christmas Eve running around town in search of a reindeer – a plastic reindeer - instead of being tucked away in a dark corner of Henry Williams holiday bash with Cindy Peters.

“Get over it,” Sam snaps, just as unhappy about having to hunt on Christmas Eve.

“Moody little bitch,” Dean mumbles as he keeps his eyes peeled. Maybe if they find the damn thing soon enough he can still make the party.

It comes out of nowhere, barrelling right into him and knocking him into the snow, trampling all over him as if he weren’t even there. Beside him, Sam laughs loudly.

And lets the damn thing get away.

“Once that reindeer is dead, you’re next,” Dean promises from his spot on the ground.
