Sam finds Dean sitting on the ledge of the motel’s roof. He’s got a bottle of alcohol in his hand and his face lifted towards the sky. Sam is terrified.

When Sam takes a seat next to him, Dean speaks.

“Remember when I told you I wished I couldn’t feel? Well, I got my wish. I am void of emotion. I give up. I have no reason to go on.” Sam reaches out slowly to turn Dean’s face towards him and leans forward, kissing him softly. “What was that?” Dean asks.

“That’s me hoping I can make you feel love.”
