Sam’s sitting at the bar, discreetly staring at a familiar brunet at the other end. He knows him from somewhere but he can’t quite figure out where. He’s assuming it’s a hunt and with all the hunts they’ve been on, Sam’s sad to say that people have started to blur together. Or maybe it’s just the alcohol.

It takes a while for him to realise he’s been found out and the guy is coming over. Face to face, it hits him. “Spider boy! Shit, sorry, I mean, Matt,” Sam stammers out. No more alcohol for him. “How’s it going, Matt?”

Sam Winchester, Matt thinks. He never thought he’d get to see the man again. Still has his number – probably disconnected now - programmed into his phone. When he catches Sam looking at him, he decides he’s got nothing to lose.

Sam’s clearly had a few and Matt wonders if maybe he should just stick to a quick catching up session before seeing if Sam needs help getting back to his room. Screw it, Matt thinks, leaning forward and kissing his old crush.

“Always wanted to do that,” he admits after pulling away. Sam leans back in and kisses him hard.

I loved Matt!! I've been meaning to write a Sam/Matt fic since Bugs and finally did it! Still plan on writing a longer one someday but for now... :P
