Summary: Dean reflects on his and Sam’s life.

Note: Written forturapele who gave me the prompt: Sam/Dean - a cute way of expressing how insular the boys lives have been. Double drabble since it took me so long to write… I’m not sure this is what you expected, turapele, but I still hope you enjoy it.
While Dean is waiting for Sam – bastard took the car – he watches the people around him. For the most part, their lives are different. Like two puzzle pieces that don’t really fit together.
He and Sam lead a pretty lonely life. Isolated. All they really have is each other. It’s been like that most of their life. Best friends since the night mom died. Their life is dangerous though not boring and it’s weird. It’s got killer trucks, omens and spirits, crazy human-killing people, alien abductions, alligators in sewers, zombies, werewolves, vampires, people eating clowns, people eating scarecrows, animated teddy bears, freakin’ genies… So yeah, odd and horrifying to other people yet normal to him and Sam.
Dean doesn’t mind though. His life may be weird, dangerous and chaotic but at least he’s living life to the fullest. And he has his brother all to himself. Doesn’t have to share him with anyone. In any way.
Dean is smirking when Sam pulls up next to him and his brother rolls his eyes. “Keep it in your pants until we’re inside,” Sam tells him. “So, I think the spirit we’re looking for is possessing the girl’s doll.”
Dean chuckles to himself.
