Dean threw his arm out, hitting Sam in the chest and stopping him in his tracks.
He immediately looked around for danger and Dean pointed to the ground where a black cat was sitting. “You stopped me for a cat?”

“A black cat on Friday the thirteenth,” Dean reminded. “That’s asking for trouble when you’re a Winchester.”

Sam chuckled but humored his brother by cutting through an alley to avoid the cat. Coming out of the alley, Sam schooled his expression and turned to Dean. “So, you keep watch for cats and I’ll look for ladders.” Dean glared, Sam laughed.
