Summary: Holiday fic 20 of 35 written formartyred_wings. Prompt given: Dean/Jimmy – Castiel has had to go back to Heaven for the Christmas period, on angelic business, leaving Dean and Jimmy alone together - with a whole bottle of Vodka, Christmas chocolates and some mistletoe!
Cas leaves without much warning, telling Dean he has to go back to heaven for a few days, maybe a week, and to please take care of Jimmy while he’s away. Dean isn’t even given the chance to comment before Castiel is gone and Jimmy is slumped back on the couch.
It turns out Jimmy’s an okay guy and not as uptight as Dean would have thought. Sam’s out at the local library so he and Jimmy kick back to watch a movie on TV.
“Isn’t it Christmas soon?” Jimmy asks. “And why is there mistletoe stuck to the door and the ceiling fan?” he adds, looking at the fan right above their heads.
“Christmas is in two days and the mistletoe is courtesy of the motel manager. She’s one of those people who’s always happy. It’s kind of annoying.”
They sit in silence again as they watch a bit more of the movie before Jimmy asks another question. “Do you celebrate Christmas?”
“Not really, sorry. You’ll have to settle for Vodka, chocolates and apparently, mistletoe.”
Jimmy’s eyes light up. “Chocolate?”

“We’re drunk,” Jimmy points out. “Or I’m drunk. You drunk?” he asks Dean.
“Pleasantly tipsy,” he provides. “And we’re out of chocolates.”
Dean feels a sloppy kiss on his neck and turns is head coming face to face with Jimmy. “Mis’toe,” he whispers to Dean, index finger pointing upwards. “Gotta kiss under it. And we’re still under it.”
“Well who am I to defy tradition?” Dean asks. Jimmy doesn’t answer but kisses him instead.
