There are hearts of all sizes decorating the halls of Stanford. Everywhere Sam goes, he finds hearts. There are a few roses and cupids too. Sam wants to know who went through the trouble of decorating the whole school for one day. Christmas he can understand but Valentine’s day?

Okay, so maybe Sam’s a little bitter because he doesn’t have anyone to share the day with. But it’s not his fault that Jessica Moore makes him lose his train of thought making it impossible for Sam to ask her out. If Dean were here, he’d probably laugh at his brother.

Someone sits next to Sam in the library and he distractedly moves his things aside. That’s when he smells it; that fruity scent that always follows Jessica.

Sam’s head snaps up and he sees her sitting next to him, smiling and waiting patiently.

“Hi!” Sam practically squeaks out.

Jessica puts a small package in his hand before kissing the corner of his mouth and gracefully walking away.

Looking down, Sam finds a small bag of chocolates with a little note attached reading: Be Mine Sam Winchester.

Sam’s got a stupid grin on his face for the rest of the day.
