toho_kinkmeme prompt: I'd like a fic in which one of the twins, for whatever reason, has been pushed to their limit and is basically trying to commit suicide (though perhaps not in an uber-dramatic way), and the other twin (while probably feeling the same misery from the same source) is in a healthier enough state to recognize that if they can just make the other wait long enough, the desperation will pass. Or something like that.
Basically, I just want something more realistic than usual - one twin can't FIX the other immediately and make it all go away, but they can definitely be there, help, support, etc.
And which twin is what doesn't matter, although I'd probably be pleasantly surprised if it was Tom who was the desperate one - Bill is usually portrayed as the troubled one.
